CWJ875-040 was crafted from a Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox E875 “Speed Beat” World Time, circa 1968.

After this watch’s owner provided it to Cloister to be reimagined, we completed a full mechanical overhaul of the watch’s movement before mixing a vintage-inspired hue of slate grey. We replaced the twenty-four cities around the piece’s original interior dial with a standard grey finish, accented by a period-correct luminous triangle used for setting the alarm function. All text was rendered in white to match the original white seconds hand, and we added a blue accent surrounding the alarm indicator. We commissioned a bespoke Parisian black suede strap with grey accent stitching color-matched to the dial and installed a period-correct, stainless steel Jaeger-LeCoultre tang buckle.
